REECE
Camp Counselor Since 2021 Career Goal: Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) "Working as a Camp Counselor is a great experience for those pursuing fileds of OT, PT, SLP, Education, Nursing, etc. You gain skills such as empathy, problem solving, and patience that translates into being a great friend, future parent, and future professional. I have learned how to help campers have fun, even during a non-preferred activity. I had to learn how to adapt and personalize activities to fit my campers strengths and interests, which will help me be a better SLP one day. Camp ESN not only gives campers a full camp experience, but counselors get that same fun experiences, too. We've gotten to do zip-lining, swimming, tubing, and horseback riding! It's more fun for the campers if we are having fun too! Best of all, the staff on our team are exceptionally flexible and supportive!" |
